The Lewis Mills girls lacrosse team made history today with its first postseason win in program history, 17-3 over Watertown. The top-seeded Spartans will face No. 2 Housatonic, a 16-14 winner over Capital Prep for the first Western Connecticut Lacrosse Conference tournament title on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Watertown High School. Register Citizen reporter Peter Wallace will be covering the match. Look for a story from him tomorrow evening.
Of note, the Lewis Mills boys face Watertown for the boys title at 1 p.m. All-WCLC selections will be announced between matches.
